We love creating beautiful pieces of edible art, but the taste of everything we make is incredibly important.
We want you to enjoy something truly delicious! This is why all of our confectionery is handmade, using only the best ingredients:
Free-range local farm eggs, the finest quality chocolate, as well as lots and lots of real butter.
All of our cakes and bakes are made fresh, entirely from scratch, using our own secret recipes. This includes things like lemon curd and salted caramel!
Nothing is pre-made or store-bought. We don’t ever use box mixes, preservatives, shortening/margarine or any artificial/imitation flavours.
Our cakes are covered in classic Swiss meringue buttercream,which is somewhat tricky to make, but the super silky and not-too-sweet result is so worth it.
Occasionally we use chocolate ganache which is chocolate and cream melted together – so indulgent!
We believe that this extra effort makes our bakes distinctly unique, super delicious and unforgettably enjoyable.

We can make almost any flavour your heart desires, but here are a few ideas. Pick at least 1 cake flavour and 1 buttercream flavour. If no filling is chosen, the buttercream will also be used as the filling.

*Due to the tropical South African climate, we don’t typically fill our cakes with soft fillings like lemon curd or salted caramel –
we swirl these fillings through our Swiss meringue buttercream so that the cakes are more stable and structurally sound (no melting, bulging or sliding!).
Please note: all of our products are made in a kitchen that uses nuts, eggs, cow’s milk, wheat (gluten). Our products may also contain peanuts, tree nuts, soya, or traces thereof. We do our best to avoid ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for for those with food allergies – please tell us about your allergies before placing your order. We do make a few gluten-free cakes and cow’s milk-free cakes. Unfortunately we do not currently offer any sugar-free or vegan products.
